Mechanical & building systems / QATAR
What we deliver
Data-centre cooling
The building-services side of data-centre work: chilled-water and glycol loops, in-row and rear-door heat exchangers, precision cooling, stainless-steel and copper process piping, leak-detection integration, pressure testing, flushing and commissioning, and precision-cooling AMC.
APPLICATION GUIDE
Where this fits your project
Mechanical work in a data centre joins specialist IT cooling equipment to the facility infrastructure. Reliability depends on clear interfaces between pipework, pumps, cooling units, controls and the team responsible for operating the site.
Details to resolve before work begins
Agree connection sizes, isolation strategy, flushing requirements, leak detection and maintenance access before installation. For live facilities, identify the permitted work windows and the sequence for introducing new equipment without assuming that existing capacity is available.
Plan the connected systems
Data-centre liquid cooling ↗ Direct-to-chip liquid cooling ↗ Server immersion cooling ↗ Coolant distribution units ↗
Selection & project coordination
The installation is coordinated with site access, adjoining systems and the operating requirements of the facility. Inspection, commissioning and documentation requirements are agreed as part of the project scope.
Questions before you start
What should be defined before connecting a new cooling rack?
Confirm the thermal load, fluid conditions, available pressure and flow, connection details and monitoring points. The project should also establish the testing boundary and responsibility for acceptance of the IT-side and facility-side systems.
What information is needed to quote for data-centre mechanical installation?
Please provide it and cooling loads, equipment connection schedule, water quality requirements, redundancy and shutdown constraints. Include the project location, drawings or equipment schedule, required delivery date and any consultant specification. This helps our team identify the correct scope before pricing.
How is the data-centre mechanical installation scope agreed?
The team reviews the drawings and site conditions, identifies interfaces with other trades, and sets out the deliverables and exclusions in a written quotation. Technical submittals, inspection requirements and handover records are agreed to suit the project.
Discuss your Qatar project
Contact Aamtron’s Doha team with the project location, drawings and required programme. For occupied buildings or operating facilities, include access restrictions and permitted work windows. Product availability, delivery timing and the agreed scope are confirmed with the quotation.
