Rack-oriented units with pump, manifold and monitoring options for smaller AI and high-performance computing deployments. Select duty from the manufacturer rating at the specified primary and secondary temperatures, rather than nominal capacity alone.
Enterprise coolant distribution
Larger CDU configurations with options for pump redundancy, replaceable service components and building-management interfaces. Hydraulic separation, filtration, monitoring protocols and maintenance access are coordinated with the IT and facilities teams.
Mission-critical coolant distribution
Designs with redundant loops, pumps and power arrangements for applications requiring continuity during maintenance or component failure. Availability objectives and certification evidence must be reviewed for the complete installation; a component alone does not establish the facility tier.
Facility distribution units
Larger distribution packages connect cooling equipment to the facility water system. Selection considers heat load, warm-water operation, pump duty, heat reuse where applicable, control interfaces and the space required for service access.

A coolant distribution unit connects the IT cooling circuit with the facility heat-rejection system. Rack, row and larger facility arrangements address different loads, space constraints and maintenance needs.
Details to resolve before ordering
Compare the rated heat duty at the actual primary and secondary temperatures, not capacity alone. Review flow, pressure loss, pump redundancy, filtration, controls and the points needed by the monitoring system. Define responsibility for pipe connections and water treatment.

Use the same operating temperatures, heat load, fluid, pressure limits and redundancy requirement for both. Include service access, control integration, commissioning and spare-part arrangements so the comparison covers the installed system.
What information is needed to quote for coolant distribution units?
Please provide design heat load, primary and secondary temperatures, flow and pressure drop, availability and redundancy requirements. Include the project location, drawings or equipment schedule, required delivery date and any consultant specification. This helps our team identify the correct scope before pricing.
Can Aamtron install coolant distribution units as well as supply them?
Supply-only and installation enquiries follow different scopes. Tell us which you need. Where installation is included, site access, supporting works, connections, testing and handover are defined separately in the quotation.
