Supply and installation of central and point-of-use hot-water systems: electric and heat-pump water heaters, calorifiers and storage tanks, solar hot-water systems, boilers and hot-water recirculation loops, mixing valves and temperature safety devices, pipe insulation, and periodic descaling and maintenance. Where this fits your project
Hot-water installations are sized around peak demand and the time available for recovery. Hotels, staff facilities, kitchens and residential buildings can have very different draw-off patterns even when their total daily consumption is similar.
Details to resolve before work begins
Coordinate the heater, storage vessel, circulation loop and controls with the available plant-room space. The scope should state power connections, pipe insulation, drainage and temperature-control requirements, together with the planned commissioning and handover checks.

Selection & project coordination
The installation is coordinated with site access, adjoining systems and the operating requirements of the facility. Inspection, commissioning and documentation requirements are agreed as part of the project scope.
Questions before you start
When is hot-water recirculation worth reviewing?
Long distribution runs can create delays before hot water reaches an outlet. Review the route, usage pattern, return arrangement and controls as a system; simply increasing storage capacity may not resolve delivery delays.
What information is needed to quote for water-heating installation?
Please provide peak hot-water demand, available power, storage space, pipe routes and recirculation. Include the project location, drawings or equipment schedule, required delivery date and any consultant specification. This helps our team identify the correct scope before pricing.
How is the water-heating installation scope agreed?
The team reviews the drawings and site conditions, identifies interfaces with other trades, and sets out the deliverables and exclusions in a written quotation. Technical submittals, inspection requirements and handover records are agreed to suit the project.
