What we deliver

Plant and machinery installation

Turnkey mechanical erection of industrial plant, from the arrival of the trailer to a running, handed-over machine. Scope begins with receiving and offloading: unloading machinery from trailers, flatbeds and low-beds, de-stuffing and skating equipment out of 20ft and 40ft containers, uncrating and inspection against packing lists, and damage reporting. Handling is carried out with mobile cranes, forklifts, telehandlers, gantry frames, chain blocks, hydraulic jacks, machine skates and roller sets, supported by lift plans, load and centre-of-gravity calculations, rigging studies, route surveys and floor-loading checks, and approved method statements and risk assessments with certified riggers and third-party-tested lifting gear.

Equipment is then moved to its final position on rollers and skates, jacked and lowered onto foundations or base frames, and set to line and level using precision levels, laser alignment and shimming, followed by anchor-bolt fixing or chemical anchoring, epoxy grouting, and anti-vibration mounts or spring isolators where specified

Multi-part plant is assembled section by section — frames, conveyors, guarding, drives and gearboxes, tanks and hoppers — and coupled and aligned strictly to the manufacturer’s general-arrangement drawings, layout drawings and installation specification, with tolerances recorded and signed off.

All services are then completed in-house rather than left to others: process and utility piping (compressed air, steam and condensate, chilled water and glycol, CO2, nitrogen, product lines and drains), power cabling, MCC and control panels, VFDs, field wiring, instrumentation and PLC/SCADA interfaces, HVAC, ventilation and exhaust ducting, and the plumbing and drainage connections around the machine

The scope closes with mechanical completion checks, pressure and leak testing, loop checks and calibration, no-load and load trials, alignment and vibration verification, commissioning alongside the OEM’s engineers, trial production runs and performance testing, punch-list closeout, as-built documentation and operator training.

Also covered: plant relocation and factory shifting (dismantling, tagging, packing, transport and re-erection), line extensions and format conversions, shutdown and turnaround support, and de-installation and disposal

Sectors: bottling and beverage lines, food processing and packaging, water and effluent treatment plants, printing, CNC and workshop machinery, laundries and commercial kitchens, compressors and air systems, chillers, AHUs, generators and transformers. APPLICATION GUIDE

Where this fits your project

Machinery installation covers the transition from delivered equipment to a positioned and connected production asset. The route, lifting arrangement, foundation and service connections should be planned before equipment arrives.

Details to resolve before work begins

Confirm dimensions, weight, lifting points and the manufacturer’s installation requirements. Align the installation sequence with foundation readiness, access, grouting or alignment activities and utility availability, and define the commissioning support boundary.

Selection & project coordination

The installation is coordinated with site access, adjoining systems and the operating requirements of the facility. Inspection, commissioning and documentation requirements are agreed as part of the project scope.

Questions before you start

What can delay machinery installation after delivery?

Restricted access, incomplete foundations, unavailable utilities and missing installation data can all affect the sequence. A pre-installation review helps identify these dependencies while delivery and production plans can still be adjusted.

What information is needed to quote for plant & machinery installation?

Please provide equipment dimensions and weights, foundation drawings, access and lifting constraints, utility connections. Include the project location, drawings or equipment schedule, required delivery date and any consultant specification. This helps our team identify the correct scope before pricing.

How is the plant & machinery installation scope agreed?

The team reviews the drawings and site conditions, identifies interfaces with other trades, and sets out the deliverables and exclusions in a written quotation. Technical submittals, inspection requirements and handover records are agreed to suit the project.
