Fabrication & process piping / QATAR
What we deliver
Hydrogen piping
Specialist hydrogen distribution built to ASME B31.12, executed with orbital welding to give consistent, fully documented joints on a gas where leak-tightness is a safety matter rather than an efficiency one. Scope covers electrolyser and generation-skid piping, fuel-cell and refuelling station lines, purge and vent systems, material selection against hydrogen embrittlement, safety engineering, leak detection interfaces, weld mapping and NDT, and full test and commissioning documentation.
Inert gas and vacuum piping
Nitrogen, argon and CO2 distribution for blanketing, purging, packaging and process use, and vacuum piping for handling, packaging, laboratory and production lines. Scope includes generator and bulk-supply tie-ins, vaporisers and manifolds, stainless or copper distribution, oxygen-depletion monitoring interfaces where confined spaces are involved, and pressure and leak testing with certification. Sectors: food and beverage, electronics, laboratories, pharmaceutical, welding and fabrication shops.
APPLICATION GUIDE
Where this fits your project
Specialist gas and vacuum pipework requires a defined process specification. Gas identity, purity, pressure or vacuum level and leakage requirements affect material selection and the design of connections and isolation.
Details to resolve before work begins
Share the process diagram, equipment connections and cleanliness requirements with the responsible engineering team. Hazard assessment, ventilation and detection interfaces, joining procedures and testing must be addressed within the project’s approved design and scope.
Selection & project coordination
The installation is coordinated with site access, adjoining systems and the operating requirements of the facility. Inspection, commissioning and documentation requirements are agreed as part of the project scope.
Questions before you start
Can ordinary compressed-air piping be used for specialist gases?
Do not assume interchangeability. The gas, operating conditions, material compatibility and applicable project requirements must be reviewed for the complete system by the responsible designer and equipment suppliers.
What information is needed to quote for hydrogen, inert gas & vacuum piping?
Please provide gas composition and purity, pressure or vacuum range, flow and connection schedule, safety and testing specification. Include the project location, drawings or equipment schedule, required delivery date and any consultant specification. This helps our team identify the correct scope before pricing.
How is the hydrogen, inert gas & vacuum piping scope agreed?
The team reviews the drawings and site conditions, identifies interfaces with other trades, and sets out the deliverables and exclusions in a written quotation. Technical submittals, inspection requirements and handover records are agreed to suit the project.
Discuss your Qatar project
Contact Aamtron’s Doha team with the project location, drawings and required programme. For occupied buildings or operating facilities, include access restrictions and permitted work windows. Product availability, delivery timing and the agreed scope are confirmed with the quotation.
