Mechanical and visual level indicators
The simplest and most robust options, and still the right answer for many villas and small buildings: float-and-pulley indicators with an external dial or scale board, magnetic float level gauges with a follower in a sealed tube, sight-glass and level-tube gauges for ground tanks and plant rooms, and float switches for basic high and low alarms. No power required, nothing to calibrate, and readable by anyone on site.
Electronic level sensors and transmitters
The specification range, presented by technology against the duty each suits. Conductive multi-electrode probes for potable and sump applications, the common and economical choice here. Capacitance probes for continuous measurement in smaller tanks. Hydrostatic submersible pressure transducers for deep tanks and sumps, reading head from the bottom. Ultrasonic non-contact sensors mounted in the tank roof where nothing may touch the water. Radar and guided-wave radar where foam, vapour, temperature or surface movement defeats ultrasonic. Reed-chain and magnetostrictive sensors where accuracy matters. Vibrating-fork and optical point-level switches for dependable high, low and dry-run alarms.
Digital displays, alarms and remote monitoring
Local digital displays at the tank, remote repeater displays in the pump room, security desk or reception, audible and visual high-level, low-level and overflow alarms, and wireless app-based monitoring over GSM, LoRa or Wi-Fi reporting to a phone or cloud dashboard with level history, consumption trends and alerts. For compounds, estates, facilities-management companies and multi-site operators, one dashboard covering every tank is a materially stronger sale than an indicator on each, and it earns a recurring monitoring fee rather than a one-off product margin.
Pump control and level automation
Where the real value sits, because the client’s problem is rarely the reading itself. Automatic level control panels with duty and standby alternation, dry-run protection, high and low level cut-outs, transfer-pump control between ground and roof tanks, float and electrode-based controllers, solenoid and motorised fill valves, and integration with booster sets. Level signals are taken into BMS, SCADA or the building monitoring system over 4–20mA, Modbus or BACnet by the group’s own BMS and instrumentation teams — a capability no indicator supplier can match.
Specialist tank monitoring
Fire-water tank level with supervisory alarm and signalling to the fire alarm panel as pump rooms require; diesel and fuel tank gauging with leak and theft alerts; chemical tank level in compatible wetted materials; wastewater and sump level with pump control and high-level alarm; and chilled-water and thermal-storage level for plant rooms.
Level indicator services (the recurring half)
Sold as a service line, not an accessory: site survey and sensor selection for existing tanks; supply, installation and calibration; retrofit to tanks already in service, including roof tanks in occupied buildings; replacement of failed indicators of any make; fault diagnosis on level and pump-control faults, which is the call that comes in after a pump has already burnt out; periodic cleaning, descaling and recalibration of probes, since scale and fouling in Qatar’s water is the usual cause of false readings; battery and transmitter replacement on wireless units; and annual maintenance contracts covering every tank and control panel on a site. Sectors: villas and compounds, residential and commercial buildings, hotels, schools and mosques, labour accommodation, factories and warehouses, and facilities-management companies managing portfolios.

Questions before you start
Is a level display the same as pump control?
No. A display shows information, while pump control needs defined start and stop functions and suitable interfaces. State both the measurement and control requirements so the complete arrangement can be selected.
What information is needed to quote for water level indicators & monitoring?
Please provide tank depth and geometry, liquid and temperature, local display or remote signal, pump control and alarm requirements. Include the project location, drawings or equipment schedule, required delivery date and any consultant specification. This helps our team identify the correct scope before pricing.
